Welcome to the GunCAD Wiki, a wiki for the design, creation, and maintenance of DIY firearms and accessories. It's a repository of gun knowledge maintained by enthusiasts in the space.
New Around Here?
The following are useful resources for newcomers:
And some off-site helpful links for domain knowledge:
- The Polymaker Wiki - Contains a ton of useful information about general printing practices and Polymaker's plastics
- Spool Scout - Lets you search through a bunch of filaments by specs from their datasheets
Want to Contribute?
First of all, print a gun. You should have experience with DIY firearms firsthand before you push an edit. Once you've done that, here are some things you could do:
- Add a wanted article or a page for a wanted category
- Polish up some stub articles
- Create a guide
- Document some jargon in the glossary
- Write articles on notable designs
- If you're a manager for one, create a page for your release group and add it to this category
