Editing GunCAD Wiki:Style Guide

This is a WIP style guide for editors and contributors

== Overview ==
Here's the short of it:

* Mission statement is in [[GunCAD Wiki:About]], go read that
* We're a wiki, not an infodump:
** Don't make a "SuperGuy200's Print Settings" page in the root namespace, keep it under "User:SuperGuy200"
** All articles should be written in an '''encyclopedic tone''', except guides, which can be somewhat handholdy
** While we're talking about guides, abide by the the title restrictions in [[:Category:Guides]] when making one
** Use passive language, not sensational
* '''Be bold'''. Don't feel like you have to run every change by me -- I'd rather people made contributions than didn't. There's a matrix link on [[Main Page]] if you wanna drop by and have a chat. Go to General.
* Categories must all be '''plural''', except:
** Categories for organizations ("GunCAD Index", "Black Lotus Coalition", etc.)
** "Meta-Categories" like "Stub", "Needs Work", etc.
* Use the [[:Category:Glossary]] if it's appropriate. Don't spam it, abide by usual wiki first-link policies (only glossary lookup on the first instance of a term)
** Do not add things that aren't domain-specific jargon to the Glossary
** Use the citation template ''always''. It is subject to change
